Utiliser une presse plieuse pour fabriquer des composants à partir de bobines de métal. Préparer, régler et ajuster la presse plieuse en fonction des plans de produits et des calendriers de production. S'assurer que les matières premières sont disponibles en quantité suffisante. En outre, il est responsable du réglage et de l'utilisation des machines à cisailler pour couper l'acier dans les dimensions et les angles spécifiés.

Responsabilités:

  • Utiliser des équipements de formage de la tôle, tels que presse plieuse, cisaille, poinçonneuse, etc.
  • Charger, former et décharger des produits allant de petites pièces à de grandes tôles d'acier.
  • Veiller à la mesure précise des pièces à l'aide d'un ruban à mesurer, d'une équerre et d'autres instruments.
  • Effectuer toute autre tâche confiée par le superviseur, le chef d'équipe ou le directeur de l'usine;
  • Respecter toutes les règles de santé et de sécurité, les pratiques sûres et les exigences définies par Bailey.

 

Qualifications et exigences

 

  • Une expérience de 1 à 2 ans dans un environnement de fabrication est préférable.
  • Capacité à utiliser correctement les équipements de mesure tels que les mètres à ruban (impériaux et métriques), les pieds à coulisse, les micromètres, etc.
  • Connaissance des outils manuels tels que les cisailles à étain, les mètres à ruban, les pieds à coulisse, etc.
  • Les qualités personnelles comprennent l'éthique, l'ouverture d'esprit, l'observation et la ténacité.
  • Apprentissage rapide, esprit d'équipe, motivation personnelle et capacité à respecter les délais.

  • Diriger et participer à l'entretien et à la réparation de la machinerie et des systèmes de l'usine, en respectant les priorités de sécurité, qualité, productivité et fiabilité.
  • Fournir un leadership solide et planifier/prioriser la charge de travail.
  • Élaborer et mettre en œuvre un plan de gestion de la machinerie pour maximiser la disponibilité de l'usine et éviter les arrêts imprévus.
  • Coordonner les réparations avec le personnel de production.
  • Configurer l'équipement, résoudre les problèmes et assurer le bon fonctionnement des systèmes.
  • Diagnostiquer et réparer les pannes des machines et équipements.
  • Avoir des compétences en tournage, fraisage, soudage, meulage et perçage.
  • Installer, entretenir et réparer les machines et composants électriques majeurs.
  • Améliorer les méthodes de travail, produits, productivité et sécurité.
  • Tenir des dossiers d'entretien et l'inventaire des manuels d'équipement.
  • Rechercher et négocier les fournitures et services nécessaires à l'entretien.
  • Faire des rapports quotidiens sur l'entretien et les réparations nécessaires.
  • Lire et interpréter les dessins et spécifications pour les installations existantes.
  • Tester et mesurer la tension, les charges et l'intégrité des circuits.
  • Travailler par quarts pour répondre aux demandes de production.
  • Participer aux programmes de formation recommandés par le directeur de l'usine.

 

Qualifications et exigences

  • Minimum 8 ans d'expérience en réparation et entretien dans un environnement de fabrication.
  • 2 à 4 ans d'expérience avec des équipements / outils tels que grues, chariots élévateurs, cercleuses, cutters, scies à onglets, instruments de contrôle qualité, etc.
  • Une excellente connaissance du processus de production, du chariot élévateur et de la grue est essentielle.
  • Des certifications telles que l'électricité, le mécanicien industriel seraient un atout.
  • Bonne connaissance de la loi et des règlements sur la santé et la sécurité.
  • Les qualités personnelles comprennent l'éthique, l'ouverture d'esprit, l'observation et la ténacité.

Manufacturing Engineer III

We are seeking experienced, highly motivated, hands on, results oriented engineering professional. The Manufacturing Engineer III will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and processes for new and existing products (resilient metallic seals).

The role also supports various engineering projects including new product development, project management, manufacturing development and support, tooling and fixtures, and identifying new equipment and technologies. They will rely on experience and judgment to plan and support goals utilizing creativity as well as excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills.

The responsibilities include:

  • Work with the site team and production operators to establish stable and repeatable manufacturing processes. Solve real time problems in processing with equipment and tooling. Implement workable solutions in both the short and long term so that failure modes are effectively understood and eliminated.
  • Support the development of all internal drawings and process control documentation for all new processes including work instructions, inspection plans, and engineering prints.
  • Manage and/or lead manufacturing projects from contract receipt through delivery to ensure products are manufactured safely and in compliance with customer requirements.
  • Ensure effective communication with customers, sales, quality, operations, purchasing and planning to drive projects to completion within lead time and budget.
  • Manage vendor relationships and expectations through direct contact.
  • Support new product industrialization and control procedures, and ensure work is completed in the required time frame and budget requirements.
  • Use software as required to design/modify and detail machining fixtures, tooling, and stampings tools. Ensure that the design meets customer print and specification requirements as required, and that the designs are optimized for safety, manufacturability, assembly, and production use.
  • Regulatory documentation for validation, CAPA, and procedures.
  • Other projects as assigned.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

The successful candidate should possess the following requirements:

  • A Bachelors degree in engineering or similar discipline is required.
  • Advanced technical knowledge associated with a Master’s Degree would be a plus
  • 10+ years’ work experience in an engineering capacity in a manufacturing environment.
  • Practical / Technical knowledge of Welding Engineering is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of project development and management.
  • Ability to be self-directed and work in a cross-functional team (Manufacturing, Sales, and Engineering) environment is essential
  • Understanding of lean principles and ability to implement improved processes
  • Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental best practices
  • Able to write clearly and speak convincingly as a large amount of time is spent working with people within and outside of the company
  • Able to make independent decisions as well as operate in a team environment.
  • Strong Solid Works / AutoCAD skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $89,500.00 to $138,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $100,200.00 to $155,100.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Responsabilités:

  • Préparer et emballer les commandes.
  • Décharger les remorques.
  • Retirer le matériel de la ligne d'emballage.
  • Déplacer le matériel vers et depuis les zones de stockage des produits finis.
  • Charger les remorques.
  • Maintenir un espace de travail propre et organisé. Une place pour chaque chose et chaque chose à sa place.
  • Déplacer le matériel vers et depuis les postes de travail tels que les bandes, les patins, les entretoises, etc.
  • Vider les bacs à ferraille et à ordures situés sur les lignes.
  • Déverser les queues d'acier dans le bac à ferraille.
  • Charger et décharger les camions en toute sécurité.
  • Empiler les bobines en toute sécurité à leur place.
  • Localiser et fournir aux lignes les bobines dont elles ont besoin et qui figurent sur les ordres de travail.

Qualifications et exigences

  • 5 ans d'expérience dans la conduite d'une dépanneuse dans un environnement industriel.
  • Connaissance des équipements/outils tels que le moteur de remorquage, la machine de cerclage et la station de ravitaillement en gaz naturel.
  • Bonne connaissance des produits finis, des configurations, des tailles et des poids des chariots élévateurs, ainsi que des exigences en matière d'empilage des produits.
  • Capable de travailler par roulement si nécessaire.
  • Diplôme d'études secondaires.

Extrusion Machine Operator

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

Operates and monitors automated vinyl and accessory extruders. Extruders are fed with compound while panels and accessories are produced using the latest technology in machinery. Tooling and downstream equipment are used to produce a high quality finished product.

Shift: 12hr shift on a 2-2-3 schedule (3 days one week, 4 days the next week) which requires you to be able to work every other weekend.

Shift Hours: Night shift - 8p-8a

Pay: $25.18/hr. paid weekly

NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:

Set up, operate, and monitor production extrusion machinery. Start-up extrusion lines and makes all required adjustments to stabilize process in order to minimize scrap and maximize efficiency. Reprogrammable microprocessor controls are used and monitored to achieve desired product quality.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Performs continuous 1/2 hour quality checks by measuring, testing, and recording data to ensure 100% acceptable material.
  • Monitors in-coming materials, regrind, compound, and concentrate to ensure proper color, lot number, and processability.
  • Continually monitors all tooling and downstream equipment to achieve proper specifications.
  • Fills out and monitors all process control sheets and monitors packaging and labeling of finished goods.
  • Must be capable of troubleshooting and basic processing conditions to ensure the highest quality possible.
  • Must be skillful in color changes, start-up, and shut down of all equipment.
  • Assist maintenance and tooling personnel in resetting lines to maintain the highest quality product.
  • Accountable for production efficiency, scrap, and quality standards.
  • Required, when necessary, to pack/inspect the product online in addition to the operation of fork trucks and housekeeping.
  • Must demonstrate good team skills, troubleshooting skills, and both verbal and written communications to ensure an efficient operation.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or general education (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have extrusion experience.
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time – 12 hour shift.

Physical Requirements

Vision: Must be capable of reading letters and numbers, and have good color reception. Language: English Hearing: Normal Range of Motion: Full, some bending, lifting, and standing for a 12-hour period. Lifting Capacity: Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds chest-high. Sitting/Standing: Standing for 12 hours daily, and moving up and down the production line. OSHA Requirements: Standard plant safety rules, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes and Bump caps. Must have basic computer skills. Specific License Required Material Handler and Grinder. Some operating personnel are required to have a fork truck license when moving materials

Production Manager

What’s the job?

This position is for the brand-new, state of the art, fiber glass mat facility in Oxford, NC.

The Production Manager is responsible for all production activities on the assigned production line. The incumbent will manage and direct the activities of the production line personnel to efficiently produce quality products. Will monitor and direct the Process Engineer, Production Supervisors activities and production line personnel. The incumbent is held accountable to ensure production activities are carried out in compliance with all environmental, health, and safety requirements, policies, and procedures. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.

  • Supervise and direct all Production activities for assigned lines to ensure that products are produced to meet or exceed all established process specifications and quality requirements. Confer with departments heads to coordinate and establish work schedules, assignments and production requirements for operations and activities within or between departments.
  • Observe work and monitor to ensure production or processing standard performance. Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Interprets production specifications and determines the acceptability of production that is in process.
  • Responsible for the support of activities such as Maintenance and Engineering.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of product manual and manufacture all products within specification.
  • Maintain communication with Plant Manager and Production Planner to assure production requirements are understood.
  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy and consistency in production reporting in business Enterprise systems.
  • Provides input and collaboration as part of the plant operations management team.
  • Must advice and counsel Production Supervisors effectively, utilize progressive discipline, taking corrective actions when warranted for crew members.
  • Ensures compliance with all safety procedures, establishes, and promotes the maintenance of a safe, accident free and healthy work environment. Eliminate or control hazardous conditions resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations, which may lead to human injury and or property damage.
  • Report all EH&S incidents – Injuries/Recordables, Near Misses, First Aid, Environmental and Property/Equipment Damage.
  • Ensure adherence to Waste Management and Recycling responsibilities.
  • Participate in Incident & Near Miss Investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions.
  • Participation in development and review of JSA/SOP’s.
  • Provide assistance to direct reports in reviewing accident investigations to reach root cause and determine corrective actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Mold Design Engineer II

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Mold Design Engineer will leverage their skills to design innovative products that meet customer needs. The engineer will coordinate mold tooling builds, vendor qualification runs, and plant trials. The engineer will interface and collaborate with other CertainTeed functions including manufacturing, product management, quality control, purchasing, and logistics representatives to successfully launch new injection molded products. The engineer is expected to use fundamental engineering principles, along with quality methodology, to reduce risk and ensure a successful product launch. In addition, the engineer will be expected to overcome obstacles that arise by solving technical challenges directly or by reaching out to other individuals or functions within Saint-Gobain. The engineer will work closely with manufacturing to assure optimal performance of existing injection mold tooling. This position reports to the R&D Site Operations Director and will be based out of either McPherson, KS, or Jackson, MI.

Essential Functions

  • Injection mold product design and documentation, including use of performance simulation tools, such as Moldflow analysis.
  • Demonstrate the feasibility of a concept using design, prototyping, 3D modeling and testing. Ensure that the product design is robust utilizing tools, such as CAD and CAE software, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Design of Experiments (DOE), testing, and DFMEAs.
  • Develop innovative ideas and capture invention disclosures.
  • Proficient at leading a team to launch products, keeping the project on schedule, assuring deliverables are met, and obstacles are overcome.
  • Lead a team to identify manufacturing specifications for new products and ensure that the product can be produced at target performance levels through plant capability trials.
  • Perform product tests to gain final approval from key stakeholders. Lead warrant memo process for all new product launches.
  • Management of mold tooling vendors, coordinating mold trials at vendor sites.
  • Prepare statements of work (SOW) for tool fabrication bids.
  • Partner with key tooling vendors to design, test, qualify, and launch new manufacturing mold tooling.
  • Travel to mold tooling vendors for pre-shipment trials.
  • Support manufacturing on mold process and tooling related items.

Commercial Territory Manager - GCP Building Envelope

The GCP Commercial Building Envelope Territory Manager for Commercial Building & Infrastructure (CBI) is responsible for sales growth of GCP’s portfolio of waterproofing and air barrier systems by generating sustained demand and positioning GCP as the preferred choice among owner, design professional, applicator, contractor, and distribution customers.

 

  • Works collaboratively with Regional Sales Manager to meet sales targets and create sustained demand.
  • Building and maintaining value-added relationships between customers and our organization.
  • Calls on end-users, contractors, builders, architects/specifiers, and owners creating a “pull-through” demand, subsequently working with distribution customers to close related sales.
  • Actively targets and tracks construction projects from planning through bidding phases to maximize closing rates.
  • Conducts and participates in sales promotions and educational meetings directly with architects, contractors, applicators, distributors, and at trade association events.
  • This is a field sales role, requiring extensive travel to call on customers. Travel is up to 75% primarily within driving distance with company provided vehicle; some overnight travel is required. Territory includes Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and upstate New York.
  • Relay customer needs between Commercial Territory Managers and to Marketing, R&D and Manufacturing.
  • Assist applicators with product information and training programs including job site support.
  • Prospect new projects to position GCP Commercial Building Envelope Systems by implementing planned sales strategies, company marketing programs, and delivering effective customer service.
  • Most of the time will be spent on design professional sales calls for project specification positions and applicator sales calls to support the applicator and secure sales.
  • Provide training to distributors to increase their GCP product knowledge and establish sales strategies.
  • Assist in testing new marketing materials, products, systems, and applications.
  • Provide accurate forecasts for the territory by working with applicators and distributors on expected demand.
  • Develop work plans with distributors to accomplish mutually agreed on sales goals.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track projects, customers, and a sales pipeline.
  • Work closely as part of a regional sales team in the Northeast Region. Cooperates and assists fellow salespeople, sales managers, marketing personnel, customer service, manufacturing, and other company personnel.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position, which is $89,500-$138,500 per year. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 30% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $116,300 to $180,000.
