Join our dynamic team as a Human Resources Generalist II! In this critical role, you’ll support, execute, and manage a variety of HR programs in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your expertise will be vital in aligning HR initiatives with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster positive employee relations and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Support employee development and training programs.
- Manage total rewards systems to attract and retain top talent.
- Oversee Human Resource Information Systems and recruitment processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Human Resources Manager, Plant Manager, and Corporate HR team on strategic HR initiatives.

You will report directly to the Human Resources Manager and play a key role in leveraging change leadership skills to help our site achieve its objectives.
Travel: Up to 10% for meetings and training
Typical plant working conditions: fast-paced environment, seasonal temperatures, noise levels, dust, and moving machinery
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or other relevant field required
- 4 years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in a union environment preferred, with knowledge of labor laws/compliance, as well as government regulations. The incumbent must have a solid understanding of the NLRA and its effect on functioning in a union environment
- Understanding of organizational development, compensation systems, benefits administration, safety programs, and training
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ well-being and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $79,500 to $123,400 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of the base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $87,450 to $ 135,740 Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and are not a guarantee
