Saint-Gobain, through its technical textile products subsidiary ADFORS Americas, Inc., today announced plans to invest $28 Million to expand its operations in Dublin, Georgia, creating 400 new jobs over the next two years and expanding its ability to serve customers during a time of growing demand.

Saint-Gobain North America, through its electrochromic glass subsidiary SageGlass, today announced that it will recycle over 1,000 tons of glass per year for the next five years, diverting the material from landfills and upcycling the components for future use through an agreement with a third-party processor based in Minnesota.

Saint-Gobain North America and its building products subsidiary CertainTeed LLC have renewed the company’s partnership with Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) as its exclusive provider of roofing, insulation, gypsum, siding, fence and railing products.

Saint-Gobain, through its building products subsidiary CertainTeed Canada Inc., will invest approximately $4 Million CAD to install heat recovery technology at its gypsum wallboard plant in Vancouver, reducing the plant’s carbon dioxide emissions by 10% and improving the energy efficiency of the facility.

Saint-Gobain North America and its building products subsidiary CertainTeed LLC today announced that through its virtual Power Purchase Agreement (vPPA) with the Blooming Grove Wind Farm, and additional renewables contracting, the company has received renewable energy certificates (RECs) that effectively reduced approximately 33% of its CO2 emissions from electricity usage in 2021 in the United States and Canada.
