Saint-Gobain announces its never-before-seen global exhibition "Future Sensations" will be accompanied by a pop-up beer garden and over 35 popular food trucks at The Oval, May 30 – June 6. As one of the Premier Sponsors of The Oval's 2015 season, Saint-Gobain will offer visitors outdoor fun along Philadelphia's own "Avenue des Champs-Élysées" to commemorate its 350th anniversary. The first foray into a season-long celebration at The Oval, "Future Sensations" is a free, must-see entertainment and culinary destination, day and night alike.
In partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and the Fairmount Park Conservancy, Saint-Gobain's "Future Sensations" exhibition is providing yet another example of how The Oval’s programming continually transforms this premier location into a hip, urban oasis of themed activities and entertainment.
"Future Sensations underscores all the elements that make The Oval a must-see destination for neighbors and visitors alike: art, architecture, science, innovation – and above all, fun," said Kathryn Ott Lovell, Executive Director of the Fairmount Park Conservancy.
Pop-Up Beer Garden
For many Philadelphians, their favorite garden is a beer garden – and for them, "Future Sensations" will prove to be a must-visit destination. Adjacent to the five "Future Sensations" pavilions, visitors will find an open-air beer garden, equally perfect for a night with friends and a weekend day with the kids. Backed by an incredible view of The Oval on the Parkway, the beer garden will offer a seasonal selection from Yards Brewing Company that pays homage to Saint-Gobain's French roots. Saint-Gobain is proud to celebrate Philadelphia as one of the best beer-drinking cities in America alongside Philly Beer Week.
